When I watch a movie, I usually know what I’m getting into. Last night I watched Law Abiding Citizen. It was in my Netflix queue because the movie poster looked cool, but I hadn’t bothered to read about the movie before I watched it. Needless to say, I did not expect the movie to turn out the way that it did!
All in all, Law Abiding Citizen is a relatively enjoyable movie that kept me a bit on my toes. One or two plot turns were rather predictable, but a few surprises and enough suspense more than made up for that.
Taking a look at Rotten Tomatoes, it seems that critics absolutely hated the movie (25% rating) but audiences rather liked it (77%). It’s not a blockbusker, but it’s not a bore. I’d watch it again.
